Aim Research in Merewether has been selected to conduct a study investigating the use of medication, Retatrutide, and its effect on obesity related cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and weight related general health.
To complete this study, we need volunteer participants. We are looking for volunteers who:
- Are ≥ 45 years old.
- Are overweight or obese.
- Have either or both of the following:
- heart disease
- kidney disease
- Do not have type 2 diabetes or have type 2 diabetes and your Hba1c is 10% or lower
Those who choose to volunteer and meet the eligibility criteria will participate in the study for around 5 years, visiting our clinic in Merewether roughly every 3 months for review and to collect your study medication. Physical examinations, blood tests and patient reported questionnaires will be used to track the participant’s safety and progress throughout the study.
